The Africa Tourism Climate Action Forum (ATCAF) 2023 pre-event awareness activities in kicked off yesterday, Wednesday 22nd November, 2023 in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State with a flag off of the Reforest Africa Project.
This Reforest Africa Project which is geared towards planting 10 Trillion Trees in Africa seeks to promote the importance of reforestation in mitigating climate change and preserving Africa’s natural beauty. Yesterday, the Sayari Dunia Sustainable Tourism Foundation (SDSTF), organizers of the ATCAF 2023 event flagged off the Reforest Africa
initiative with the launch of the 1000 Trees Planting along the New Iyin road, Ado-Ekiti. The 1000 Trees planting which is to be rolled out in phases began with the planting of 10 tree seedings yesterday in Ado-Ekiti. The event of the day was graced with the presence of Mrs Abigail Olagbaye, the President of Sayari Dunia Sustainable Tourism Foundation (SDSTF) along with senior civil servants from the Ekiti State Ministry of Environment and representatives
other NGO partners in support of the initiative.
The 3 Days ATCAF 2023 event is organized by the Sayari Dunia Sustainable Tourism Foundation (SDSTF) and hosted by the Ekiti State Government and supported by several other organization partners, including Sterling Bank.
